What would stop my member count updating? this is really starting to annoy me

These are current stats:

Threads 1,173 Posts 19,394 Members 215
Welcome to our newest member, blitzkrieg8

Now I had 6 members in awaiting confirmation, I changed 5 of them to r.egistered users (excuse the dot but I think ozzy's word filters are changing things lol) but my member count remained on 215, I've updated counters, recounted statistics, checked scheduled tasks, disabled and enabled plugins and no change.

the 6th awaiting confirmation is a test account so I confirmed the email hoping it would update to 216 no such luck, can anyone suggest anything as to what is happening.

update...

created a new account and confirmed email straight away and it's updated the member count to 216, still missing 6 grrrr
 
Sorry problem solved....

I moved the missing members back into r.egistered users and added a new user through admin panel and woohoo the count is now correct, sorry for talking to myself!!
 
LOL that's cool, sounds to me like the counts did not get updated properly, but doing what you did triggered the counter update. :)
