A family of four got stuck after driving their car into high floodwaters in San Antonio, Texas. The mom suffers from a brain tumor and they were on the way to the hospital when the car started filling with water. VPC

A firefighter died in Oklahoma while carrying out a rescue operation in high water, media reported, as the National Weather Service warned about potentially historic flooding.
The death happened early Sunday in Claremore, Okla., emergency management official Thomas Hudson told CNN.
Claremore Fire Chief Sean Douglas told KOTV in Tulsa that the firefighter, whose name has not been released, was attempting to rescue a fellow firefighter who had fallen into a flooded storm drain. The other firefighter was able to make it out of the storm drain alive, Douglas said.
Authorities in Oklahoma and Texas say they have been conducting numerous rescues of residents from flooding areas. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said at least 15 highways have been closed across the state due to flooding, which also caused damage to a gas station and mall in Oklahoma City.
Evacuation orders have been issued in Elk City, Okla., and Wichita Falls, Texas. Much of North Texas and Oklahoma are under a flash flood warning.
Officials from the Rocklahoma festival in Pryor, about 50 miles west of Tulsa, urged attendees around 9 p.m. Saturday to head to their cars or the nearby camping area to wait out the incoming weather.
They later stressed the campgrounds were not being evacuated.
The American Red Cross has opened shelters across the Central and South Texas region for anyone affected by severe weather and flash flooding.
Accuweather.com said heavy rain was causing significant flooding and the threat of tornadoes in the Plains from Deep South Texas to Kansas.
