In late May, record-setting rains flooded areas of Central Texas, causing flash floods that swept away people<span style="color: Red;">*</span>and homes. Thousands were evacuated from their houses<span style="color: Red;">*</span>and returned to find them gone or destroyed.
While the devastating floods in Texas have receded, the communities are just starting to pick up the pieces.
