PALMETTO, Fla.*— Two brothers were killed while they were working at a convenience store here and now the hunt is on for their killer.
The brothers*— Faares Yousef, 17, and Khasem Yousef, 23*— had been working at the family's store, Snappy's Kwick Mart when an armed robber shot and killed them.
Palmetto police have identified the gunman as Devin Chandler, 25, of Palmetto. Police have issued arrest warrants charging Chandler with two counts of homicide and one count of armed robbery.
The brothers don't regularly work at this store; they had been filling in on the Labor Day holiday.
The police chief said a lone robber walked into the store and without any demands or warning, shot the young men execution-style.
“The individual went into the store. *The two employees who were killed were at the front counter. *He just point-blank walked up and shot them, just shot them in the head,” said*Chief Scott Tyler of the Palmetto Police Department.

Police were able to identify Chandler from surveillance video.
Witnesses said a young customer went into the store and found the bodies.
The pain is unbearable for this tight-knit extended Palestinian family.
“Having a really hard time, the murder of two kids, just can't believe it,” said Omar Sureiman, a cousin.
"They liked to play soccer and do the things that regular kids do," he said.
Sureiman had just been with the 17-year-old a couple days ago.
“I actually hugged him and told him goodbye, because he was going back to Bradenton,” Sureiman said.
Loved ones and loyal customers of the store hope the killer pays for cutting these two lives so short.
“I just wish he gets killed, or goes to prison for life or something,” Sureiman said.
The funerals will be held Tuesday following Muslim tradition.
The victims' family is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspected gunman.
