JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. --*Two teenagers accused in a*robbery and sexual assault in a*Johnson City, N.Y., parking lot*will face adult prosecution*after a Broome County grand jury handed up multiple felony indictments Friday.
Brandon R. Corey, 16, of Johnson City, was indicted on six counts, including first-degree rape and first-degree robbery. Jacob R. Coish, 17, of Binghamton, was indicted on three counts, including first-degree robbery.
Johnson City police said a female hospital employee was walking to her car shortly after midnight April 14*when a man approached her, showed a knife and attempted to rob her in the*UHS Wilson Memorial Hospital parking lot. He then raped her, stole her vehicle and cellphone, and fled.
The vehicle was later found in Binghamton's west side.*Investigators say the driver crashed it on Main Street in*Binghamton, then continued to drive before abandoning it.

Corey and Coish were arrested a few days later. After Corey's arrest, Johnson City Police Chief*Brent Dodge said the attack appeared to have been random, and Corey and the woman were not acquainted.
"We’re confident this is the right suspect and this is a rock-solid case," Dodge*said in April.
When Coish was*arrested, police said he was suspected of taking part in the vehicle theft.
Under state law, cases involving defendants under age 19 can be prosecuted in family court, and convictions of youthful offenders are sealed. Speaking last month before the indictment,*Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell said his office has discretion in such cases*but would not consent to a youthful offender designation.
Chief Assistant District Attorney Michael Korchak presented the case to the grand jury and will prosecute*it, according to the DA's office.
