SALEM, Ore. —<span style="color: Red;">*</span>The man suspected of killing three<span style="color: Red;">*</span>people and injuring<span style="color: Red;">*</span>another<span style="color: Red;">*</span>at a rural home and legal pot grow east of Woodburn was captured Monday afternoon<span style="color: Red;">*</span>following an hours-long search in Marion County and the surrounding areas, officials said.
Marion County Sheriff's Office responded to the home, located on a wide stretch<span style="color: Red;">*</span>of land in the<span style="color: Red;">*</span>13000 block of Killiam Loop<span style="color: Red;">*</span>NE that includes<span style="color: Red;">*</span>a house,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>blueberry farm and legal pot grow,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>after receiving reports of a shooting with multiple victims.
Crews found two men<span style="color: Red;">*</span>dead and a woman and man<span style="color: Red;">*</span>injured from gunshot wounds<span style="color: Red;">*</span>at the residence. The injured victims were flown to Oregon Heath and Sciences University and Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, where the woman<span style="color: Red;">*</span>later died, said sheriff's office spokesman Lt. Chris Baldridge. The man remained<span style="color: Red;">*</span>in critical condition.

The male suspect fled the scene and was at large at least two hours. Officials from the sheriff's office,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Oregon State Police, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and Woodburn Police combed the rural roads and highways surrounding the crime scene. A description of the suspect and his vehicle was sent to all local police agencies.
At around 1:30 p.m. PT, the suspect was stopped while driving on Interstate 84 east of Portland<span style="color: Red;">*</span>by OSP troopers and<span style="color: Red;">*</span>taken into custody without incident.

Neighbors said the area, a collection of stables, farmland and homes just outside Woodburn near Pudding River, was usually peaceful<span style="color: Red;">*</span>and calm.
"It's usually quiet," Jaime Valverde said. "It's country out here."

Valverde didn't know the family that rented the home from the farm owner but said they hadn't lived in the neighborhood for long.
Baldridge said investigators would remain at the home until the end of Monday and possibly continue the on-scene investigation into<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Tuesday. Information about the identities of the victims and the suspect was unavailable.
