1. Greece asks for rain check on loan repayment
Greece asks for more time after the country missed a scheduled loan repayment Friday. The debt-ridden European community member has requested to have its four debt repayments due to the International Monetary Fund this month rolled over into one to be made on June 30. The request came a day after Greece and its creditors failed to make much headway in the latest round of their protracted bailout discussions. Greece's international creditors have to give their blessing to a Greek reform package before vital bailout loans are released. Without the money, Greece faces the prospect of going bankrupt.

2. Duggar victims speak about being sexually molested
An interview with Jill and Jessa, two of Josh Duggar's younger sisters who were victims of his sexual molestation, will air Friday night. Their story follows Fox News' Megyn Kelly's interview with parents Michelle and Jim Bob, which got a scathing response on social media. The parents acknowledged in their interview that four of their eldest son's victims were their daughters. A fifth was a family friend. "Every victim should have the right to tell their own story, not by a tabloid," Jim Bob said.

3. Website issues may be the only thing between you and cheap airfare
Southwest Airlines extended its nationwide fare sale through the end of Friday. That's because bargain-seekers bogged down Southwest.com. The sale, which launched Tuesday, makes many of Southwest's shortest flights $49 each way, making dozens of non-stop routes across the nation available for less than $100 round trip. The sale has become something of an annual tradition for Southwest.

4. From this moment on ... prepare to say goodbye to Shania?
Country-crossover queen Shania Twain kicks off her farewell tour, Rock This Country, Friday in Seattle, with dates scheduled through October. Her stage will be designed for access to the audience so the "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" singer will "get to slap some hands and look people in the eye." Fans will hear her hits, of which there are many, but also some of the songs she has been writing herself over the past two years, which will be featured on a new album.

5. U.N. report says volunteers are key to advancing global development

Volunteerism around the globe helped people in developing countries participate more actively in their governments and economies, but governments undervalue the contributions of volunteers, a United Nations report found. The State of the World's Volunteerism Report, made public Friday by the United Nations Volunteers, is the first-ever global survey of how the world's 1 billion volunteers — most working in their own countries — impact their communities. The U.N. will use the findings at its summit in September, when the international body will set its 2030 goals for eradicating poverty and creating peace.

Bonus: It's National Doughnut Day! This isn't one of those made-up food holidays. National Doughnut Day was created as a fundraiser by the Salvation Army in 1938.
