1. Marco Rubio expected to enter presidential race
Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, a telegenic rising star with appeal to conservative and establishment Republicans, is poised to jump into the presidential race on Monday. Rubio has scheduled a "big announcement" at Miami's Freedom Tower. Some analysts say his changing stance on immigration could trip him up in his bid to become the first Latino president. The expected announcement comes a day after Hillary Clinton let the world know she'll aim for the White House once again.

2. Public memorial service set for Lauren Hill
A public memorial service will be held Monday in Cincinnati for the college basketball player who inspired many as she fought an inoperable brain tumor. Nineteen-year-old Lauren Hill died Friday at a Cincinnati hospital. She played in four games for Mount St. Joseph this past season and made five layups. The memorial service will be Monday night at Xavier University's 10,000-seat basketball arena. That's the same arena where Hill made a layup in front of a sold-out crowd to start the season. Hill helped raise $1.5 million for cancer research. Read LeBron James' moving message to Hill.
3. Nazi code-breaker Alan Turing's notebook to be auctioned
A handwritten notebook by Alan Turing, the code-breaking genius depicted by Benedict Cumberbatch in the Oscar-nominated The Imitation Game, is going on the auction block Monday. The 56-page manuscript was written at the time the mathematician and computer science pioneer was working to break the seemingly unbreakable Enigma codes used by the Germans throughout World War II. The notebook will be auctioned by Bonhams in New York and is expected to bring at least $1 million.

4. Jodi Arias to be sentenced
A county judge on Monday will decide whether Jodi Arias — found guilty of killing her lover — should spend the rest of her life in prison or have a remote chance of freedom. Arias, 34, faces a sentence of natural life in prison or a sentence of life in prison with the possibility of release after 25 years. The sentencing comes nearly seven years after the murder of Travis Alexander. Arias is expected to appeal the decision; her attorneys allege misconduct by the prosecutor in her case.
