1. Tim Tebow to sign contract with Eagles

Tim Tebow is back in the NFL — at least for now. The former Heisman Trophy winner and journeyman quarterback is set to sign a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, according to multiple reports. Fox Sports' Jay Glazer was the first to report the story. The signing would reunite Tebow with Mark Sanchez, whom he played with on the New York Jets in 2012. Tebow worked as a college football analyst for ESPN last season. His last NFL work was before the 2013 season, when he participated in training camp with the New England Patriots.
2. Runners take off at 2015 Boston Marathon
Monday is the 119th running of the Boston Marathon. It includes 26.2 miles, 34 elite athletes, 30,000 runners, 87 countries, 1 million spectators and $830,500 in prize money. Oh, and 150 pounds of petroleum jelly, 992 portable toilets, 108,000 safety pins, 28,200 bananas, 33,984 fruit cups, 35,000 gallons of water and 1.4 million paper cups. Meb Keflezighi, the 2014 champion, hopes to defend his title. Good luck to all the runners in this year's race.

3. Five years after spill, Gulf Coast waits for fine money
Five years after the massive BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, Gulf Coast communities are still waiting for the billions promised to help them recover from the nation's worst environmental disaster. Local officials and environmentalists from the five affected states — Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas — have taken steps to identify which projects would be financed with fine money paid by BP. But they're still waiting for those funds, on hold until a federal court in New Orleans decides exactly what the company should pay. The oil spill began after the BP-owned Deepwater Horizon rig operated by Transocean exploded and sank on April 20, 2010, killing 11 people. Nearly 5 million barrels of oil flowed into the Gulf over a period of 87 days until the underwater well was capped.

4. Theaters to host 'Batman v Superman' event
Get ready, true believers: The Batfleck is coming. The first Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer arrives Monday at a special event in IMAX movie theaters across the country. Director Zack Snyder tweeted out a link for fans Wednesday with details plus a short video with a tease of footage from his followup to 2013's Man of Steel. The trailer will mark the public's first glimpse at Ben Affleck in action as the Dark Knight opposite a returning Henry Cavill as Superman. Snyder had given Comic-Con attendees a snippet of footage last July at the annual pop-culture convention in San Diego.
5. Obama honors national champion Buckeyes
Members of Ohio State's national championship football team are headed to the White House to be recognized by the president. President Obama is scheduled to honor the team at an event in Washington on Monday. The meeting follows an invitation Obama extended to Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer shortly after the team became the winners in January of the first-ever College Football Playoff in a 42-20 win over Oregon.
