1. Memorial service held for Mississippi police officers
The Hattiesburg Police Department will hold a memorial service Monday for Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25, who were shot and killed during a routine traffic stop on Saturday. The shooting marked the first time a Hattiesburg police officer had been killed in the line of duty since New Year's Eve in 1984. Authorities confirmed Sunday that a fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting.

2. Orioles return home
The Orioles will host Toronto on Monday night in their return to Baltimore. It will be the first time they've played in Baltimore since April 29, when they held a game without fans at Camden Yards because of civil unrest in the city after the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody. Orioles first baseman Chris Davis hopes their return can help the people of Baltimore feel like life is getting back to normal. "I think it's something that will kind of help remedy what's been going on there," Davis said. "Being back and giving the fans an opportunity to see us play, and play some good baseball, will hopefully kind of revive their spirits."

3. Liberia marks being Ebola-free
A national ceremony is planned in Liberia for Monday after the World Health Organization declared over the weekend that the country's devastating 14-month Ebola outbreak was over. The outbreak killed more than 4,700 people. WHO said it has been 42 days since the last confirmed Ebola victim in the West African country was buried. That is twice the 21-day incubation period for the disease to emerge in an infected individual.

4. Ex-CIA officer to be sentenced for leak to reporter
Jeffrey Sterling, a former CIA officer who was convicted of sharing classified information with New York Times reporter James Risen, is scheduled to be sentenced by a federal judge Monday in Alexandria, Va. Sterling's case created a firestorm over the limits of the First Amendment when it comes into conflict with national security, as the government tried to compel Risen to reveal the confidential sources for this 2006 book, State of War:The Secret History of the CIA and the Bush Administration. Risen refused to cooperate, but because he was not called as a witness in Sterling's trial he never faced any jail time.

5. Pete Rose to make first Fox appearance
After years of exile from professional baseball, Pete Rose is getting a chance to reconnect to the game as a studio analyst for Fox Sports 1. Rose is scheduled to make his first appearance for Fox on Monday on America's Pregame during a segment on the show that starts at 5 p.m. ET, then will be on MLB Whiparound starting at 7 p.m. and on a taped segment of Fox Sports Live at 11:05 p.m. Fox announced April 18 that it had hired the career hits leader to share his insights on the game today. Rose has had little connection to the game since he agreed to a lifetime ban in August 1989 after an investigation for Major League Baseball concluded he had bet on Cincinnati Reds games while managing the team. MLB's new commissioner, Rob Manfred, is currently considering an appeal from Rose for reinstatement.
