Obama heads to India for climate talks
The president and first lady Michelle Obama will spend the next few days in New Delhi, India, where climate change will be among the topics discussed. Hosted by India Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Obama will speak with a group of CEOs during a largely ceremonial visit designed to highlight the U.S.-India relationship.
The Obamas were originally scheduled to visit the Taj Mahal on their last day. But the president changed his plans and will be leaving the country earlier than expected; according to Indian officials, Obama will fly to Saudi Arabia following the death of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.

Northeast, Mid-Atlantic braces for a slushy mess
This weekend's weather gives you the perfect excuse to stay in bed. A storm bringing drenching rain and a flood threat to the Southeast on Friday will head toward the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast overnight and into Saturday, delivering a messy mix of snow, sleet and rain. It will dump 1 to 5 inches of snow Saturday from the southern Appalachians to southeastern New England, according to the Weather Channel.

Which Golden Globe-winning TV can you watch for free on Saturday?
Amazon's Transparent will be coming to a laptop or device near you on Saturday completely free of charge. Coming on the tails of its massive critical success and two shiny new Golden Globes, the groundbreaking dark comedy starring Jeffrey Tambor tells the story of Maura, a transgender woman and former patriarch of her family. This GLAAD-nominated series is a perfect binge-watch to go with the terrible weather.

Duke's Coach K could hit 1,000 career wins
Duke's men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski is on the verge of yet another coaching milestone. He could become the first men's coach in Division I history with 1,000 wins on Sunday should his fifth-ranked Blue Devils beat St. John's. That milestone could come in the same arena where three seasons ago he became the winningest men's coach in college basketball's top tier. A win at Madison Square Garden would bring his record to 1,000-308.

Screen Actors Guild honors their own
It may not be the Oscars, but in terms of winners, it comes pretty close. The Screen Actors Guild Awards, airing on TNT this Sunday, is the only awards show decided entirely by actors and actresses — and USA TODAY even got to peek at the seating charts. Can you imagine sitting next to Meryl, Viola, Julia and Jennifer Aniston? Talk about living the dream. Entertainment reporters Andrea Mandell, Bryan Alexander and Bill Keveny will be there, tweeting the latest news from the show.
