1. Final Four of NCAA tournament begins
March is over, but the madness isn't. It's time for the Final Four. The storylines look like this: Kentucky is on a quest to finish as the first undefeated Division I men's college basketball team since Indiana did it in 1976. A veteran Wisconsin squad in its second consecutive Final Four is determined to reverse last year's result and get revenge on Kentucky after a narrow loss to the Wildcats in last year's national semifinals. Like UConn last season, seventh-seeded Michigan State has hit its stride at the perfect time. And Duke carries coach Mike Krzyzewski into his 12th career Final Four appearance as the Blue Devils look to win the school's fifth men's basketball championship. The Duke-MSU tipoff is at 6:09 p.m. ET Saturday, followed by Wisconsin-Kentucky at 8:49 p.m. ET. The women's Final Four tips off on Sunday in Tampa with Connecticut trying to win coach Geno Auriemma's 10th national title.
2. Lunar eclipse to feature 'blood moon'
The first of two lunar eclipses visible in the U.S. this year will take place early Saturday morning. Skywatchers in the West will get to see a total eclipse with the show beginning at 4:58 a.m. Don't blink — the eclipse will only last about five minutes, NASA says. This will be the shortest lunar eclipse of the century. In the East, the partial eclipse will last from 6:15 a.m. ET until the moon sets.
3. Historic atomic blast test site opens to tourists
The historic site of the world's first atomic blast will open to tourists for a few hours Saturday, an event that only happens about once a year. As Trinity Test site approaches its 70th anniversary of the blast in 1945, residents say the test caused long-term health problems, including rare forms of cancer, and seek compensation from the federal government. Protesters will gather Saturday to draw attention to the consequences of explosion.

4. Report on Rolling Stone rape story coming Sunday
The findings of an outside investigation of a flawed Rolling Stone story on an alleged gang rape at the University of Virginia will be published Sunday night. The Nov. 19 article on a purported gang rape at a U.Va. fraternity house and its aftermath attracted massive national attention. The Rolling Stone article quickly unraveled as the Washington Post and others uncovered numerous discrepancies in the alleged victim's story. Police in Charlottesville, Va., said last week that they had suspended their investigation because they could not determine that the rape described in the article had taken place.

5. Final season of Mad Men starts
It's the end of an era for Mad Men — at least that's the wording in the ad campaign AMC is using to launch the final seven-episode run of the Emmy Award-winning show. USA TODAY has an exclusive interview with the cast looking back on the show that brought the 1960s New York advertising industry world to life. The show tapped into the modern American dream, from its encouragement of reinvention to its collusion with consumerism, says USA TODAY's Robert Bianco. The show airs Sunday at 10 (ET/PT).
