GOP debate: And then there were four ...
It's that time again. The 11th Republican debate is Thursday night in Detroit, and all eyes are on Donald Trump, who is coming off of Super Tuesday wins in seven states. Trump*skipped out on the last Fox-hosted debate*in January after feuding with Fox News host Megyn Kelly*in August. This will be their first meeting since their very public fight.*Ben Carson announced Wednesday he would not join the four remaining GOP presidential hopefuls*after a disappointing Super Tuesday run.*He'll address the future of his campaign on Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference.*The debate will air on Fox News and online at 9 p.m. ET.

The prosecutor in the case of the man accused in the Kalamazoo, Mich., shooting rampage reportedly will give an update on the case Thursday.*Jason Dalton, 45,*is accused of killing six people and wounding two others in a series of seemingly random shootings he allegedly carried out in between stops picking up Uber fares. Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeffrey Getting said a pre-exam conference for Dalton is set for Thursday morning in circuit court and he'll be meeting with Dalton's attorney to discuss the case and "what steps to take" next.

First trailer for new 'Ghostbusters' movie to drop online
The new all-female*Ghostbusters doesn't hit theaters until this summer, but we'll get our first look at the reboot on Thursday when the trailer is released online. Right now we already know who we're gonna call*when there's something strange in the neighborhood*(Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones), we know it's definitely an origin story (not the continuation of the previously-established Ghostbusters universe) and that*there are upgraded proton packs (obviously). More to come!
Mitt Romney to weigh in on the 2016 presidential race
Mitt Romney is planning to deliver a major speech on the 2016 presidential race Thursday at the University of Utah. It’s the most visible of the 2012 GOP nominee’s efforts to reshape the Republican contest and cast doubt on front-runner Donald Trump. Romney so far this cycle has restrained himself to Twitter and media appearances, where he has questioned Trump’s support among white supremacists and called for the release of his tax returns. Romney has yet to endorse a candidate.

And*the essentials:
Weather:*A cold, snowy Thursday is forecast for the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley while another storm roars into the Pacific Northwest.
Stocks:*U.S. stock futures were lower*Thursday.
