[h=2]Will it be a “Brexit?” (A*British exit from the EU)[/h]Britain votes Thursday on whether it will drop out of the European Union, a decision that could have tremendous repercussions for the country and its economy.*In the final days of campaigning for the U.K.’s future, polls show that the race is extremely close. The loss of the U.K., one of the wealthiest and influential EU nations, could weaken the bloc’s cohesion and effectiveness and would have significant economic impacts on the region. The results are expected early Friday morning*–*with some caveats.

[h=2]Judge to issue verdict for third officer in Freddie Gray case[/h]A Baltimore judge will issue a verdict Thursday in the case of Caesar Goodson, the Baltimore police officer facing the most serious charges in the Freddie Gray case, including second-degree "depraved heart" murder. Goodson is the third of six officers being tried for the death of Gray, an unarmed black man who died from spinal injuries after being taken into police custody in April 2015. Goodson, who is black, waived his right to a jury trial after Judge Barry Williams acquitted Edward Nero, a white officer, of all charges.

[h=2]NBA teams look toward the future as draft time arrives[/h]Tucked in between a historic NBA Finals and a potential game-changing free agency period, the NBA draft Thursday might be a little short on star power but not on drama. Ben Simmons, expected to go first in the draft, says he is*anxious to face his hero, LeBron James in the NBA. Brandon Ingram, the likely No. 2 pick who many believe is heading to the Lakers, is staying calm and collected ahead of the big event. Check out USA TODAY Sports' mock draft to see who*may be heading where.
