Jeb Bush pitches*plan to pump up America's miliary
In the wake of the Paris attacks, Jeb Bush on Wednesday*will address "the path forward in our war against ISIS and radical Islamic terrorism," according to a campaign statement. Bush had to tweak his original speech, which had focused on rebuilding the military; still, this new version will likely include*a push to pump up America's military might. While all the candidates have addressed the fallout from the Paris attacks, this is the first big*speech*from a major*candidate on the subject. Bush will deliver the speech at The Citadel, the military college of South Carolina,*in Charleston*at noon.
Cy Young pitching prizes revealed
When baseball's Cy Young Awards are announced Wednesday, the winners of the top pitching honor will likely emerge from some of the closest races ever. On the National League side, in particular, it's a squeaker, with the Cubs' Jake Arrieta, the Dodgers' Zack Greinke and perennial contender Clayton Kershaw, also of the Dodgers, leading the pack. As for the American League, it's shaped up as a race between the Astros' Dallas Keuchel and David Price, who started the season with the Detroit Tigers before moving to Toronto, where he powered the Blue Jays to the playoffs.
