'Affluenza' teen and*mom to return to Texas
Ethan Couch and his mother, Tonya, are expected to be returned to Texas on Wednesday, after an international manhunt led to their capture in Mexico. Police believe Couch, known for invoking an "affluenza" defense after he killed four people in a 2013 drunken-driving crash, fled in late November with his mother after a video surfaced showing him at a party that included alcohol, possibly proving he violated his probation.*Ethan Couch could face up to 120 days in an adult jail, followed by 10 years of probation, if his case is transferred to adult court, while his mother could potentially be given a two- to 10-year sentence if convicted of hindering his apprehension.

Obama drives Jerry Seinfeld around the White House
President Obama, who rarely gets to drive anything more elaborate than a golf cart, got a chance behind the wheel recently*thanks to funnyman*Jerry Seinfeld. Obama laughs it up with Seinfeld*on the*season 7 premiere of Seinfeld's series,*Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which*airs at 11:30 p.m. ET Wednesday*on Crackle. Tiger Woods’*40th birthday comes with some hope
It's Tiger Woods'*birthday, but the golfer*could be the*oldest 40-year-old in the sports world. His back is out of whack. He hasn't won a tournament since 2013*and a major since 2008. Nevertheless, his milestone birthday comes with some hope. Tiger is still eyeballing a return to golf. His back might keep him from playing in 2016,*but he's not done. He’s planning to make*one more run.

Education secretary will*focus*on violence in*farewell speech
Arne Duncan will deliver his final address as U.S. Secretary of Education on Wednesday, where he’s expected to call for continued work to save the lives of America’s children by protecting them from violence, combating disconnectedness from society and "creating hope and opportunity for every student." A Chicago native and former head of the city school system, Duncan will speak at Chicago’s Saint Sabina Church. One of the few of President Obama’s original Cabinet, Duncan has been mum so far on his post-Obama administration plans.

Brandi Weaver-Gates, 23, a former Pennsylvania beauty queen, is due back in court Wednesday*on criminal charges for allegedly*faking leukemia to benefit from fundraisers. Authorities say Weaver-Gates may have conned at least 165 people into donating nearly $30,000*through bingo and other fundraisers for the past two years. Weaver-Gates has claimed to have chronic lymphocytic leukemia since March 2013. She was arrested in August and arraigned last month on three additional counts each of theft and receiving stolen property.
