As predicted, the<span style="color: Red;">*</span>great East Coast blizzard of 2016<span style="color: Red;">*</span>is hitting states all up and down the East Coast hard. The storm's effects stretched from Georgia<span style="color: Red;">*</span>to Massachusetts.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Here's a look at where we're at.
More than 60<span style="color: Red;">*</span>million people<span style="color: Red;">*</span>were under blizzard, winter storm<span style="color: Red;">*</span>or freezing rain warnings Saturday.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>As of 11 p.m. ET, here's where the snowfall totals were at:

Travel in the region has been at a virtual standstill.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>As of 11:00 p.m. ET Saturday,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>more than 10,000 U.S. flights had been canceled<span style="color: Red;">*</span>from Friday through Sunday. Additionally, all flights were halted Saturday at four of the nation’s busiest airports: Philadelphia, Washington Dulles, Washington Reagan National and Baltimore/Washington International.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>In New York,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a<span style="color: Red;">*</span>travel ban for New York City and Long Island, including all travel from New Jersey bridges and tunnels into and out of the city. Additionally, aboveground subway stations were closed.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Public transportation in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. continues to be shut down.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Major highways were also impassible, including parts of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, where the<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Duquesne men's basketball team was among those stranded.
A United Airlines flight from San Francisco rolled all the way to the end of a runway, Friday, when it landed at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Passenger Leigh Honeywell told The Associated Press the landing seemed normal until the pilot announced the plane was "off the end of the runway." At least 18<span style="color: Red;">*</span>people died in storm-related crashes in Tennessee, Kentucky,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>the Associated Press reported.
According to The Weather Channel, some<span style="color: Red;">*</span>250,000 customers were without power<span style="color: Red;">*</span>due to the storm that has roared up the East Coast. If your power goes out, here's how to deal with the<span style="color: Red;">*</span>food in your freezer<span style="color: Red;">*</span>and, perhaps more importantly, how to<span style="color: Red;">*</span>extend your phone's battery life.
In Sea Isle, N.J.,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>tidal flooding sent a river of ice<span style="color: Red;">*</span>flowing several blocks down JFK Boulevard<span style="color: Red;">*</span>through a major retail area. Darren Laricks, a dispatcher with the Sea Isle police department, said the water was beginning to recede in the main street before noon but was expected to return at high tide after 7 p.m.

The Washington Metro system may be closed, but members of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, also known as<span style="color: Red;">*</span>"The Old Guard," are staying with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier<span style="color: Red;">*</span>at Arlington National Cemetery despite the conditions. <span style="color: Red;">*</span>"The Tomb Guards maintain a constant vigil at the Tomb no matter the weather conditions," states the group's Facebook page.
