Jeb Bush.

Jeb Bush has one message for those who wonder about his campaign staff shake-up and his struggles in Republican polls.
It’s early.
“I don’t read the polls,” Bush told reporters Wednesday in Berlin in the midst of his Europe trip. “It’s fun to see them when you’re winning — not so fun when you’re not.
“It doesn’t really matter, though,” he added. “It’s June, for crying out loud, so we’ve got a long way to go.”
The well-funded, high-profile Bush — who is basically locked in a tie with up to five Republican rivals, if polls are to be believed — also spoke after aides announced this week that long-time Republican operative Danny Diaz would be his campaign manager.
The job had been expected to go to veteran Iowa strategist David Kochel, who will instead serve as chief strategist for early primary and caucus states.
While the moves took many Republicans by surprise, Bush described them as merely organizational changes reflecting the immensity of a presidential campaign.
“It’s a pretty overwhelming challenge, and so I decided to kind of split up the duties,” Bush said. “And David has got great success in these early states, particularly Iowa. He also has got a great strategic mind. And Danny’s a grinder.”
Bush, who is in Europe throughout the week, is expected to formally declare his presidential campaign on Monday in Miami.
