HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The eighth person has been arrested in connection to the May 9 shooting deaths of Hattiesburg police officers Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate.
Deen and Tate were gunned down on a traffic stop. Deen had made the stop and called for backup. When Tate got there, they were both shot and died shortly after.
Jimmy Brady Jr., 22, was arrested late Friday night by the ATF, and was charged with possession of a stolen firearm. He was booked into the Forrest County Jail where he is awaiting his initial appearance, WDAM reports.
The sixth and seventh suspects arrested in the case, Douglas Diquan McPhail, 21, and Anquanette L. Alexander, 19, both charged with obstruction of justice, will also have their initial appearances early this week.

Police recover gun linked to Mississippi officers' slayings
Marvin Banks, 29, the alleged trigger man, is charged with two counts of capital murder, one count of grand theft auto and one count of felon in possession of a firearm. He was denied bond for the shooting, and was given $100,000 for the other charges.
Marvin Banks' brother Curtis Banks was charged with one count of accessory after the fact of capital murder. He was given a $100,000 bond, but cannot bond out until he clears a bond on a 2013 drug possession charge.
Cornelius Clark, who was allegedly in the vehicle the night of the shooting, was charged with obstruction of justice and hindering prosecution. His bond was set at $75,000.

Joanie Calloway, 22, Marvin Banks' girlfriend who was allegedly driving the vehicle the night of the shooting, was originally charged with two counts of capital murder. Her charges were downgraded to one count of accessory after the fact. Her bond was set at $75,000.
Abram Wade Franklin, 29, was charged with rendering criminal assistance. His bond was set at $75,000.
How each of the players figured into the story of the night the officers died has not been made public yet. It is unclear if there could potentially still be other suspects and charges in the case.
The alleged murder weapon was found Friday by a road crew cutting grass.
