[h=2]Our Super Bowl hangover: Beyoncé. Then some Cam and*Peyton[/h]The game-changing player we're still talking about 24 hours after the Super Bowl?*Beyoncé.*Beyoncé*gifs. Beyoncé*and Blue Ivy*Instagrams.*Beyoncé*shutting down a Coldplay collaboration*once before. We're so glad she said "yes" to #SB50. While we're still blurry on some things (nice photo, Tim Cook), we may finally know why Cam Newton walked out of his post-game news conference: No one likes to hear someone talk behind their back. The next question awaiting an answer: When will*Peyton Manning announce his retirement?*Rarely has a farewell been scripted as well as this one.*You don't come back after all that.
[h=2]Why you can't find a booth in any New Hampshire diner[/h]Game on.*It's the last full*day of campaigning for the presidential candidates in New Hampshire*(cue barrage of Granite State jokes). Winning the*nation's*first primary Tuesday*is super*important for momentum. (No, we didn't forget Iowa, it was*a caucus state. Speaking of Iowa, did you know one company actually tracked caucusgoers’ phones?)*GOP: Donald Trump still leads all N.H. polls. Ted Cruz, who won Iowa, is in the mix with third-place finisher Marco Rubio and a trio of governors. Dems: With Vermont right next door, Bernie Sanders*has home-court advantage, and the state is a must-win for the self-described democratic socialist. Hillary Clinton has*"closer-in-chief" Bill campaigning for her. (New Hampshire*actually saved his 1992 campaign.)*Fun fact: Midnight voting in Dixville Notch and a few other locations has been a New Hampshire election tradition since at least 1948.
[h=2]Winter storms always have awesome timing[/h]It's*like*they know. Remember a minute ago when we were talking about the New Hampshire primary? Turns out there's a winter storm that could be a nuisance for voters Tuesday. For some perspective: The East Coast storm is so powerful it forced one of the world's largest cruise ships back to port Monday after four passengers were injured. Pics*here. The National Weather Service issued blizzard warnings for eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. A winter storm advisory covered New Hampshire, and forecasters predict the bulk of the snow should arrive early or midday Tuesday. In the Midwest, a separate storm brought strong winds and blizzard conditions causing whiteouts*and snarling traffic. Somebody find that groundhog.
[h=2]President Obama steps up fight against Zika*[/h]The good news about the Zika virus: It's not like Ebola;*people aren't dying from it. The bad news about Zika: It's spreading explosively*and is linked to*a cluster of cases of*microcephaly, a neurological disorder that afflicts the babies of pregnant women with the virus. The World Health Organization declared Zika an international public health emergency last week. On Monday, President Obama*asked Congress*for $1.8 billion in emergency funding to combat Zika through mosquito control programs, vaccine research, education and improved health care for low-income pregnant women.*The new request comes as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced its emergency operations center has been put on a “Level 1” status *— its highest level of activation.
