It’s five days until the Iowa caucuses.
There’s a debate here in Des Moines tomorrow, and did you hear Trump’s not going? He'll host a rival event in Des Moines at the very same time.
What drama. Let’s dive into what happened in Iowa Wednesday:
[h=2]Mike Huckabee’s campaign covered Adele and whoa<span style="color: Red;">*</span>you have to see it[/h]Let’s do this up top: Huckabee’s campaign, in the back of the back as the caucuses draw near, made a bizarre grab for attention Wednesday by releasing a video expressing Huckabee’s frustration with this 2016 race to the tune of Adele’s Hello.
It’s rife with Iowa references and,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>well, you have to see it:
Meanwhile,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Huckabee, while campaigning today in Iowa,<span style="color: Red;">*</span>worried that the “uber wealthy” are hijacking the caucuses. (Huckabee himself is worth as much as $23 million.)
[h=2]Trump basically calls Megyn Kelly a ‘bimbo’ amid<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Twitter flame war with Fox News[/h]Donald Trump’s decision to sit out the last debate before Monday’s caucuses became a storyline as big as the debate itself — well done, Trump campaign. He backed out because he doesn’t like Kelly, long slated as the debate’s moderator, or the network and its "taunting" statement.
I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct. Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter!

Fox News has shot back at Trump, too, spotlighting Trump’s Iowa rival, Ted Cruz.
That’s just a sample of a seemingly endless back-and-forth between Trump and Fox over the last two days. See a timeline of the spats here.
[h=2]If Iowa comes down to Trump and Cruz, who gets moderate Republicans'<span style="color: Red;">*</span>votes?[/h]Rubio doing Rubio.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>(Photo: The Des Moines Register)
Marco Rubio, many onlookers say. We take a look at the third ticket out of Iowa, “the anti-Cruz-Trump ticket” that Rubio, Jeb Bush, Ben Carson and others will vie for:
"(Drake University Professor Dennis)<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Goldford cited what<span style="color: Red;">*</span>he calls 'the Santorum caveat,'<span style="color: Red;">*</span>the possibility that some candidate could catch fire in the last week, just as former Pennsylvania<span style="color: Red;">*</span>senator<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Rick Santorum did four years ago to pull out a close recount victory over<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Mitt Romney<span style="color: Red;">*</span>four years ago."Maybe Rubio could win third in Iowa, if he keeps not hitting kids with footballs.
[h=2]Another poll shows Bernie edging out Hillary in Iowa[/h]Iowa's Berning.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>(Photo: T.J. Kirkpatrick, Bloomberg)
This one, from the respected Quinnipiac, shows Bernie Sanders leading Hillary Clinton by 4 points. That’s a slimmer margin that last week’s poll here from Monmouth that showed Sanders leading by 14.
[h=2]Clinton: Obama as Supreme Court Justice? ‘What a great idea!’[/h]“Wow! What a great idea!” Clinton said to a room of 400-plus people in northeast Iowa. She continued: “I mean, he’s brilliant. He can set forth an argument, and he was a law professor, so he’s got all the credentials. Now, we do have to get a Democratic Senate to get him confirmed.”
On Wednesday, Clinton also asked Iowans: Remember when my husband was president and we all had a lot of money?
[h=2]Last but not least: This man follows Ted Cruz in Iowa just to accuse him of liking Nickelback[/h]This guy’s out here. He’s been out here. And we don’t know why. See him haunting Cruz here.
[h=2]Who's in Iowa on Thursday?<span style="color: Red;">*</span>[/h]Hillary Clinton and every Republican candidate you can think of. Also Jim Gilmore. There's a debate, after all.
See all the details on The Des Moines Register's candidate tracker.
