[h=2]U.S. secretaries of State had a history of breaking the rules[/h]Hillary Clinton wasn't the only one who violated email protocol. A State Department audit that looked at the email and information practices of the past five secretaries of State found them “slow to recognize and to manage effectively the legal requirements and cybersecurity risks associated with electronic data communications.” It said Clinton, who exclusively used a private email account and server while secretary of State,*was the worst. Does your employer have an email security policy? Oh, you deleted it? Cue "Move To Inbox."
[h=2]There's a new guy in charge of the Taliban[/h]And it's unlikely he'll want to make peace. The Taliban has been fighting to overthrow Afghanistan's government since being driven out by U.S.-led forces in 2001. The group announced Wednesday*that Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada is the*new leader*after Mullah Akhtar Mansour was killed in an American drone strike last week. Mansour refused to participate in a peace process, so the U.S. and Afghanistan weren't fans. A spokesman for the Afghan president tweeted an invitation to the Taliban's new leader to do things differently, even though he's known for his extremist views. "We invite Mula #Haibatullah to peace. Political settlement is the only option for #Taliban."
[h=2]Johnny Depp said he didn't watch his Yorkie apology video because he didn't want to kill himself[/h]We get it. We still haven't recovered. Johnny Depp opened up about the bizarre*Terriergate*saga on Jimmy Kimmel Live! If you don't remember, Australia's Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce threatened to have Depp’s dogs put down after he says the actor and his soon-to-be ex-wife Amber Heard illegally smuggled the two into the country. Depp didn’t watch the apology (hostage) video before it was released, because "I didn’t want to kill myself,” he explained. He said Joyce looked like he was “inbred with a tomato.” Joyce fired back that he's turning into Depp's “Hannibal Lecter." Because this story needed to get weirder.

[h=2]Is this*Silicon Valley billionaire funding*Hulk Hogan's lawsuit?[/h]Forbes thinks so. The magazine, citing an unnamed source close to the matter, is pointing the finger at Peter Thiel, a PayPal*co-founder and early Facebook investor, for secretly funding Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against Gawker. Hogan sued Gawker for $100 million after the site posted a video in 2012 of*the ex-wrestler*having sex with his former best friend’s wife. Yikes. Hogan says it was a violation of his privacy and a Florida jury agreed, awarding*him $55 million for economic injuries and $65 million for emotional distress.*Backing Hogan would be in keeping with Thiel's habit of putting his money behind things that light his fire *— like privacy.
