Security concerns prompted the diversion of one commercial flight and evacuation of at least two others Sunday.
A Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to Orlando was diverted Sunday to Dallas after what reports say was a bomb threat made via Twitter.
Separately, in Seattle, airport spokesman Perry Cooper said a JetBlue flight from Long Beach, Calif., and a regional SkyWest jet from Phoenix were evacuated amid security concerns. The planes landed safely as scheduled.
Cooper said that out of an abundance of caution, passengers were bused to their gates from the airport's third runway. He provided no other details but said an investigation was underway.
The website FlightAware.com showed Delta Flight 1061, a Boeing 737, was diverted to Phoenix Sunday afternoon. Transportation Security Administration spokesman Mike McCarthy confirmed the diversion but declined to state a reason. He referred calls to Dallas police. Delta spokesman Morgan Durrant declined to give details but said the plane was being examined by authorities.
The Delta plane eventually departed Dallas and was to arrive at Orlando around 10:30 p.m. ET. seven hours after its scheduled arrival, according to FlightAware, a website that tracks flights.
WFAA-TV in Dallas reported the plane was diverted following a bomb threat posted on Twitter.
A tweet from an employee of a Los Angeles NBC affiliate said the pilot told passengers that they were diverted due to a possible threat over Twitter. The NBC station had a sports producer on board the flight.
Producer Sarah Chovnick tweeted just after 7 p.m. CT that passengers reboarded the same plane to complete the cross-country trip to Orlando.

KING-TV reported that JetBlue officials confirmed a security concern with Jet Blue flight 1006 flight that arrived at Sea-Tac Airport.
The station said one passenger sent the station a photo saying the captain announced on the plane that there was a threat to that flight. She said at one point police had surrounded the plane. Passengers were evacuated from the plane and transported to the terminal by bus.

2 Atlanta flights receive bomb threats
KING-TV reported that Northwest Cable News executive producer Jenna Luthman was on aboard Delta flight 4741. She said the pilot told passengers there had been a threat against the plane.
"He said in his whole pilot career he's never experienced anything like this before, and he said that three planes all had separate bomb threats coming in to Seattle, and it was a JetBlue flight and another one ahead of us and our flight as well, and he said there might have been a fourth," she said.
The incidents came a day after bomb threats targeted two jets bound for Atlanta, prompting F-16 fighter jets to escort the planes. Saturday's threats targeted Southwest Airlines Flight 2492, which arrived at Atlanta from Milwaukee; and Delta Air Lines Flight 1156, which arrived from Portland, Ore.
