SAN ANTONIO – As major companies cut ties with presidential candidate Donald Trump after his controversial comments about Mexican immigrants, a young San Antonio, Texas, girl took to YouTube to deliver a message of her own.
Ganesha Aguirre, 8, and her mother are both from Mexico. Her mother said they were victims of human trafficking and that's how they ended up in the United States. Ganesha's mother said she now has a work visa and is married to a U.S. citizen.
Ganesha said Trump's words were hurtful when he announced his run for president about two weeks ago.
Trump insinuated that Mexican immigrants were fueling crime in America. "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists," Trump said.
"I saw that he was doing something rude and something I didn't like, so I decided to stand up for Mexicans," Ganesha said. And she did so with a video posted on YouTube.

NBC fires Donald Trump over immigrant comments

"Donald Trump you don't deserve to be president of this country, you don't even deserve to be president of your own company. Mexicans are the ones that built your building, Mexicans are the ones that cut your grass, Mexicans are the ones that sanitize your buildings, Mexicans are the ones that do what you can't do," she said in the video. "So, why don't you shut your mouth and respect us."
Much calmer Tuesday, Ganesha said she would like Trump to do a better job choosing his words in the future.
"I would tell him it's not very nice what he's doing and if he would stop, I would very much like him," Ganesha said.
