North Carolina is throwing a*lot of money down the toilet over a transgender bathroom law
Looks like it doesn't pay to discriminate. PayPal nixed its*planned global operations center*in North Carolina because of*the state's*new law that restricts transgender individuals’ rights to use bathrooms that don't match the sex on their birth certificates. So Caitlyn Jenner would have to use the men’s room. The law also excludes LGBT people from anti-discrimination protections. A host of other companies (Google, Apple,*Microsoft)*and sports teams*also say they're*not cool with the*measure.*Mississippi apparently didn't get the memo on the economic fallout.*The*governor signed a law*Tuesday*allowing employers to refuse service to gay couples.

Wisconsin won't end it
It's primary day for both the Republicans and Democrats in the enchanted Land of Cheeseheads. The number of delegates at stake is relatively small: 42 up for grabs for the GOP and 86 for Dems. So win or lose, no candidate will clinch the nomination today. What makes Wisconsin noteworthy is that neither front-runner is projected to win there. Ted Cruz has led Donald Trump in most polls, while Bernie Sanders has enjoyed a small edge over Hillary Clinton. Something*to say over drinks with your conservative friends: Some Republicans see Wisconsin*as an anti-Trump turning point.*Or*over drinks with your progressive friends: For Clinton, a loss would be another reminder that Sanders isn’t going anywhere.

Wave buh bye to the world leader
On Sunday, a*leak of millions of documents from a*Panama*law firm showed tax-avoidance arrangements of the rich and famous around the world,*naming, among others,*Iceland's prime minister.*On*Monday, thousands protested outside the parliament building in Iceland's*capital of Reykjavik. Donald Trump isn't going to like this
Ford Motor is investing $1.6 billion in a new plant in Mexico. People who are angry: the United Auto Workers Union,*which pushed for higher wages in its contract talks with the automaker last year, and Donald Trump. Trump said he would stop Ford from building in Mexico if he is elected president, and*he would threaten the company*with a 35% tariff on any products or parts imported into the U.S. Trump said:*"Within 24 to 48 hours I will get a call from the head of Ford and he will say, 'Mr. President, we have decided we're going to build our new plant in the United States.' ... That's 100% sure." We'll see.
OK, ladies, now let's ... explain 'Formation'?
Beyoncé didn’t owe us an explanation for that "Formation" video or for her Super Bowl halftime performance.*But in a rare cover story for "Elle,"*the Queen finally opened up about the controversial video and explained that she’s not anti-police, but rather anti-police brutality. She said*anyone bothered by her display of black pride should look internally rather than projecting onto her. "If celebrating my roots and culture during Black History Month made anyone uncomfortable, those feelings were there long before a video and long before me." Mic drop.
