President Obama will conclude his historic five-day visit to east Africa by addressing the African Union on Tuesday.
Obama was scheduled to visit a food factory, before becoming the first sitting U.S. president to address the 54-nation African Union, which is headquartered in the capital of Addis Ababa. He is also due to meet with African Union Commission chair Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma.
On Monday, Obama and African Union representatives met to discuss terrorism, human rights and regional security issues. The U.S. president also pressed the Ethiopian government to ease restrictions on free speech, the press and political opposition.
