Donald Trump says he welcomes criticism from President Obama.
"This man has done such a bad job — he has set us back so far — for him to say that is actually a great compliment, if you want to know the truth," Trump told supporters in Beaufort, S.C.
At a news conference earlier in the day, Obama criticized Trump for what he called his anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim sentiments, and predicted that the American people would ultimately reject his campaign.

"I think they recognize that being president is a serious job," Obama said. "It’s not hosting a talk show or a reality show.<span style="color: Red;">*</span> It’s not promotion.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>It’s not marketing."
Trump said Obama is "lucky" he didn't run against him in 2012: "You would have been a one-term president."
