GOP front-runner Donald Trump returned to Fox News Tuesday night to discuss a number of current events on The O’Reilly Factor. The highlights:
On the migrants crisis:
It’s a serious problem. We haven’t seen anything like it since the second world war, and it’s getting worse and worse. He wondered if the migrants could include members of the Islamic State: “There’s a lot of security risk with it, but something has to be done.” After being questioned by host Bill O’Reilly, he said he hated the concept of taking migrants into the United States, but given the crisis, “you have to.”
His advice to Kim Davis:
This was not the right job for her.Even as he noted that he’s a “strong believer” in Christianity and religion, he pointed to the Supreme Court ruling: “We are a country of laws, and we have to do what the Supreme Court, whether you like the decision or not…you have to go along with the Supreme Court.”
On Black Lives Matter:
I think they’re trouble. I think they’re looking for trouble.Trump said the group was filled with “hate” and he called the way Democrats were backing the group “disgraceful.”
On Planned Parenthood (after heatedly telling O’Reilly that his reported support for the organization was wrong:
I wouldn’t do any funding as long as they’re performing abortions. On the Iran deal, which he’ll speak out against during a Wednesday rally in Washington:
It’s one of the most incompetently drawn contracts I’ve ever seen.*
