CNN reporters: They just wanna have<span style="color: Red;">*</span>fun. And New<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Year's Eve may have been the time to do it.
Social media had a field day in the wee hours Thursday and early Friday with the antics of the reporters kicking it up and ringing in the new year in<span style="color: Red;">*</span>venues across the country. Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin, who were holding court from New York's Time Square, would cut away to reporters in New Orleans, Memphis and Hershey, Pa.
Don Lemon, reporting with correspondent Brooke Baldwin<span style="color: Red;">*</span>at<span style="color: Red;">*</span>New Orleans' Tipitina's, a landmark destination for live music and Cajun dancing in the Big Easy, was a particular target in the Twitterverse.
Between the crawfish and cold ones, CNN viewers were polled on whether<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Lemon and Baldwin should get in a hot tub together. Lemon, outfitted in a green velvet jacket and freely tossing beads, insisted he wasn't overindulging.<span style="color: Red;">*</span>But a few choice comments to Griffin on a body part elicited ripples on<span style="color: Red;">*</span>social media. Even<span style="color: Red;">*</span>Cooper, who is used to squirming under the non-stop banter of Griffin, seemed a little taken aback.
