Airport officials say a US Airways flight from Philadelphia made an emergency landing in Houston without its nose gear. The 57 people on board got out using the emergency chutes.

HOUSTON — Officials say US Airways Flight 1825 made an emergency landing at George Bush Intercontinental Airport late Monday without its nose gear.
According to the FAA, the plane's nose gear was in the "up" position. The pilot made several passes over the airport before successfully landing.
The Embraer 190 aircraft had taken off from Philadelphia International Airport.
There were 53 passengers on board and four crew members. All passengers exited the plane on chutes around 9:30 p.m.
The airline service says one passenger was taken to a hospital with injuries that aren't considered to be serious.
