A grand jury indicted truck driver Robert Rembert Jr. on multiple counts of aggravated murder. He is being called a serial killer by prosecutors for killings dating back to 1997. Now they're investigating whether he's connected to other deaths. VPC

Ohio trucker and accused serial killer*Robert Rembert should never be free again, the father of one of his victims says.
"If he sits in a cell for 23 hours a day that would be perfect for me," said Robert Thomas, the father of Morgan Nietzel, 26. Nietzel was found shot to death Sept. 20.
"He can think about what he did for the rest of his life," Thomas said.
On Tuesday, a*Cuyahoga County grand jury indicted Rembert, who has been in jail on $1 million bond*since Sept. 21, on*25 charges. They include*10 counts of aggravated murder, six counts of kidnapping, four counts of rape, two counts of aggravated robbery and one count each of having weapons as a felon, grand theft and gross abuse of a corpse.
The charges include four murders dating back to 1997.*Rembert was previously*convicted and served six*years for one 1997 murder.*Now, prosecutors believe Rembert murdered again in 1997 and three more times right up until a few weeks ago.
"Parents, you got to hug your children because you never know when it will be the last time," Thomas said while fighting*back tears.
Thomas dropped*Nietzel off Sept.*18*on Cleveland's east side. The next day he went to pick her up, she didn't answer the door. Her car was gone. The following day*her body was found*in her own bed. Her roommate,*52-year-old Jerry Rembert, had also been shot in the head.
Police found Robert Rembert with Nietzel's car Sept. 21.
Rembert is accused of both murders. He also is charged with killing*Kimberly Hall in June and Rena Mae Payne in May 1997.
Jerry Rembert was Robert Rembert's cousin.*Nietzel was the mother of Robert Rembert's*3-year-old nephew.
"We tell him mommy's not coming back, but mommy loves you," Thomas said.
