1. Research satellite goes up, rocket booster comes down
SpaceX will launch (hopefully) on Tuesday, in its third attempt to get the Falcon 9 rocket up with a space weather and climate research satellite called DSCOVR. The launch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. from Cape Canaveral, Fla. After the Falcon 9 launches, SpaceX will attempt to land the rocket's first-stage booster on a platform in the ocean, an experiment testing technologies needed to make rockets reusable. The booster landing will happen less than 10 minutes after liftoff. A previous attempt at this sort of booster landing ended in a fiery explosion that was captured in the dramatic raw video seen below.

2. Police expected to charge suspect with U.Va. student's murder
The Albemarle County Police Department will officially announce that Jesse Matthew has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of University of Virginia student Hannah Graham at an 11 a.m. news conference, according to local media reports. Graham, 18, went missing on Sept. 13, 2014 after being last seen with Matthew, who is already charged with abduction with intent to defile in the case. Matthew is currently in a Fairfax County jail on charges of attempted capital murder, abduction and sexual penetration with an object, in connection with a 2005 attack on another woman.

3. Google revamps results for 400 medical conditions
Google results for common health terms will be much more visual beginning Tuesday. Doctors and artists helped the company provide a better at-a-glance experience for 400 of the most common medical search terms. Currently, search results for "common cold" show links to cold remedy companies and medical definitions. On revamped pages, users can expect images and comments such as "Very common," "Very rare" and "Medically treatable by a doctor or professional."

4. Jeb Bush launches new website
Jeb Bush takes another step toward potentially, maybe becoming a 2016 presidential candidate. The former Florida governor launches a new website Tuesday that will publish thousands of e-mails from his time in state office. He also plans to release the first chapter of his book on the site. Bush told his former administration workers he is proud of his record and wants to be "totally transparent."
5. More robots coming to U.S. factories
Manufacturers will significantly accelerate their use of robots in U.S. factories over the next decade as they become cheaper and perform more tasks, constraining payroll growth, according to a study out Tuesday. The development is expected to dramatically boost productivity and slow the long-standing migration of factories across the globe to take advantage of low-cost labor, says the Boston Consulting Group report. "Advanced robotics are changing the calculus of manufacturing," says Harold Sirkin, a senior partner at the research firm. A handful of nations, including the U.S. and China, are poised to reap the biggest benefits of the automation wave.
